Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system offers much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible, many attachments have been designed and made such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being developed and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
