Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machinery produced by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. For example, in industrial situations where the machinery must travel large distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the versatility and benefits of a diesel fueled generator with a 48 Volt DC equipment.
Several of the key features provided by this combination include up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete versatility. Also, the zero tail-swing provided by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius offers easy maneuvering through narrow aisles and standard doors.
The drive and proportional controls offer the equipment with precise boom positioning and smooth drive performance. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive environments, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an extra working range for particular tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform that rotates 90 degrees to either side.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
Genie machinery by Terex are ideal for both outdoor and indoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine up, out and over positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach offered by this particular model is the best in the market.
Diesel engine machinery on most modes have an articulating boom that offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machines are great in small or narrow places. Moreover, they provide supreme power, excellent torque and grade and terrain maneuverability. The diesel engines are quiet overall as well. Most models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to provide great flexibility on surfaces which are uneven and rough.
High ground clearance is offered in 2 or 4 wheel drive models, while the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and provide added range capabilities. On non-jib models, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models as well.
