Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to hoist personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
