The TX4 Series of lift trucks by Taylor are specific 4WD vehicles designed for only one task. This task is to transport material in the harshest environments. Some of the terrain these machinery work in includes: snow, mud or rough or uneven environments. The TX4 delivers unparalleled performance and has become the leading option for a lot of businesses.
Different than other similar articulated lift truck models, the TX4 is not a front loader chassis with a fork attachment. Instead, it is an articulated material handler specifically and completely engineered and designed by Taylor Machine Works.
There are 3 different load capacities available. The TX4 articulated 4-wheel drive lift trucks provide the ability to out-perform the front-end loader lift trucks. Usually, in order to attain the same capacity from a forklift or front-end loader, the front-end loader or forklift should be bigger than the 132 inch wheelbase which comprises the TX4 Series. The TX4 Series articulated 4WD forklifts are true rough terrain lift trucks. They were engineered to have no deration in full turns. Additionally, this particular unit comes direct from the plant with 11 feet of vertical lift.
Taylor Machine Works' TXB Series of rough terrain forklifts are some of the most powerful and very robust and really maneuverable high-capacity rough terrain lift trucks offered for the wood products industry. The only manufacturer in the USA which designs and makes rough terrain forklifts with 18,000 pounds to 30,000 pound rated capacities is Taylor Machine Works. Hence, they have become the leader within this specialized field in North America and have earned a solid reputation within this particular niche.
The TXB series of lift trucks all come with a Tier Certified Cummins electronic turbocharged charge after-cooled or air to air diesel engine. Several of the standard engine features consist of electronic diagnostic maintenance and transmission/engine protection systems, reduced overall emissions, improved fuel economy and fuel/water separator.
The transmission utilized for the TXB Series consists of a 3-speed, modulated, fully reversing powershift transmission. This transmission is also equipped with a separate cooler for air-to-oil, inching ability and electric roll shift control.
